Over a month has gone by since our last post to this ghost town of a site. I'd say you can hear crickets it's been so quiet on this site, but I don't think crickets hang around anymore.

My apologies to anyone who has checked the site lately, looking for some mildly funny words strewn together to make mildly funny paragraphs... though the idea that anyone actually checks this site is mildly funny to me. So now I pose the question:

If a writer makes a post on a blog and nobody comments on it except spambots selling viagra, investment opportunities, and the like... is the writer just jerking off? And if so, is it metaphorically or literally?

Okay, sorry about the "Depresso McKillyourself" rant. I just had to get that off my chest... that and the Cleveland Steamer Deputy Dippity put there*.

Poor Art. He's really bridging some troubled waters.

I might suggest that we have ourselves an intervention for Depresso McKilly here. It may be that we need to rethink the future of this website. Or that Jakob needs a nice, cathartic Stinky Pete.

You guys are bring me down. I haven't been this depressed since I heard Will Ferrel's next three films are all based on Jane Austen novels.
